I set out for the Canary Islands and Madeira trip on 22 April. The trip took over 50 flight hours over 12 days. I managed to fly over and take pictures and videos of the islands of Elba, Corsica,  Sardinia, Menorca, Mallorca, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Palma, Tenerife, Madeira. In addition the journey took me over Venice, Pisa, Melilla, Gibraltar, St Malo, St Michel and the Landing Beaches of Normandy (see the video D-Day in the history section)
