Paragliding

29.10.2013

I consider paragliding to be the best means of human flight - the machine that keeps you in the air only weighs between 7-10 kg so it can be carried on the back whenever one has the opportunity to do some paragliding which usually means in the mountains. No one else is needed to help and once in the air one can feel indeed like a bird - no glass, no frame no nothing around - just the whistling air.

Unfortunately, in 2007 I underestimated the dangers of a gusting wind and I ended my flight on my head. After about eight weeks I fully recovered but my family stepped in and I had to promise that there would be no more paragliding. So I began developing my engine aircraft flying skills... However, I plan to restart paragliding in my next life.
